Which one would be the best ally for Germany in WWI era: Britain, France, or Russia?

#1 It avoids the western front meatgrinder.

#2 It allows for expansion at expense of British and Russian Empires, which held more territory, and more valuable territory than the French metropole or colonies

#3 France is definitely the junior partner and its gains won't match Germany's

So far, three votes for France and six votes for each Britain and Russia. (stupid me for not made this a poll)

It looks like that "The best ally for Germany: Britain or Russia?" should be added to the already-long list of things that AH.com will never really agree on...

As the alliance with britain has Germany vs 3 land powers on three sides thats meaning Germany is toast

France - will still leave Germany vs AH+Russia as Frnace will be too occupied to keep britain at bay - with BRitain probably being able to both blockade France and Germany

That leaves Russia - Russia is more than capable to beat both the Ottomans and Austrians while Germany can concentrate on the West.

And Russia should be possible with an early enough POD - as AH and GErman are not allied, so Russia is naturally in teh non A-H camp ;)
