What would an Anarchist Russian Revolution look like?

As we know the Bolsheviks won out, and the grisly, bloody history of Soviet Russia totalitarian dictatorship took over much of Europe before bowing out with a fizzle rather than a bang.

How would an Anarchist led Russia have fared, would it be just as bloody as the Bolsheviks or could things turn out better? Could the revolution have spread into central and western Europe? What're your thoughts?

I think an Anarchist Russia would have given anarchist movements throughout Europe a major boost, assuming it survives the inevitable civil war that follows its establishment. It seems to me that OTL anarchism withered away as a movement in Europe (except for Spain) after WWI because a communist Russia seemed to prove that communism was the superior ideology, able to provide a "worker's paradise" while standing strong against reactionary militarism. It also didn't help the anarchist cause that social welfare democracy was providing many of the benefits that the revolutionaries had agitated for in the first place.
