What if Turkey hadn't had any military dictatorships after the 1960 coup?

During the late 60s after the return to civilian rule, Demirel allows extremist right wing, conservative and Islamist groups in the army to grow even bigger than he did IRL. These groups incite a mutiny among enlisted soldiers against the officers & a few high ranking officers are killed in this surprise attack and although crushed, the mutiny would send shockwaves throughout the Turkish military establishment & Demirel would mostly shields the inciters (because he knew the military opposed him even before this). The military higher-ups would want to coup him, but fear that no soldiers would obey.

Demirel is well aware of this, so when the 1971 memorandum comes along, he calls the military's bluff. Then the military negotiates a unity government to the crises but with Demirel still leading. Demirel with the backing of his government, begins to bring the military under firmer control.
What does this mean for the rest of the 70s? How do the 80s play out in Turkey without Kenan evren? Does turkey still have the largest income inequality in Europe? Does it still have larger income-inequality than the U.S.?
