...and that reminds me; the Safavids were by far the most powerful enemy of the Ottomans at this point, and spending all their resources and manpower on a Central Europe campaign would be a decision that is very likely to come back to haunt the Ottomans.
If the Ottomans focus on Central Europe rather then their Safavid neighbours, during this period, it's quite possible that Iraq will remain under Safavid rule for a lot longer than in OTL, thus greatly weakening the Ottoman position in the Caucasus and the Middle East.
