The Campaign Trail Game Has Returned.

OK, Manchurian Candidate McCain is the funniest nonsense ever. If you pick Pawlenty, win the debate, and play on Cakewalk, you can even win as Manchurian Candidate McCain, which gets a hilarious ending slide.

Here, copy-pasting the win text to avoid frustration:

СОВЕРШЕННО СЕКРЕТНО - ПО ЗАКАЗУ КРЕМЛИН

Congratulations, Comrade McCain. You have served well. The foolish American pigs suspected nothing as we infiltrated their highest office with one of our own. The cover story of 'being tortured by the North Vietnamese' was enough to bypass their suspicions. As this is being written, almost twenty million soldiers are being shipped to America to assist with the elimination of all remaining resistance. The capitalists truly did fool themselves into thinking that we wouldn't place agents within their own government. Comrade McCarthy successfuly diverted focus so that our true target, the Republican Party, could be transformed into the party of the working man. The attempt to destroy the Soviet Union has left us scarred and deformed, but we assure you... our resolve has never been stronger. The remaining capitalists will be hunted down and defeated. In order to ensure security and continuing stability the United States will be reorganised into the American Soviet Republic for a safe and secure society. Now, a new era will emerge. Long live the American Soviet Republic!

Anyone else has been playing the different campaigns from the Dukakis win world somebody has created? It is honestly pretty neat that on top of one shot scenarios we are starting to have actual series :)

Hi Folks, I apologize if this is a commonly asked question, or a dumb one, but how do you get all of the options discussed in the subreddit?
"The New Campaign Trail" only has so many options.
I get that there are mods, but how do you use them and is there a place with their entire collection?

NEVRMIND, FIGURED IT OUT!

Just played this mod, and it is the most fun I have had playing the New Campaign Trail in a long time! It's so creative, and a pheonominal piece of alternate history. I hope very much for a sequel!

(Is there any lore that goes with this scenario, or is it a stand-alone?)
Its a stand alone. But if has a canon ending.

I agree that it’s real cool and fun. That being said, is there any way to win as Bryan? It’s always damned if you do, damned if you don’t toward the end with the meeting on the docks (I’ve always gotten the “IT’S A TRAP” outcome when I approve the meeting. Is that intentional, or can you actually get a good outcome with it?).

I think its easy to win as Bryan. If you give the right answers, you can ignore the trap question and still get a landslide.

Playing around a bit further, it seems like taking a more moderate tone as Bryan makes a comfortable winning margin more likely later, but there’s still some luck involved in terms of how the war goes and how people react to you pointing out the suspicious men at your speech. What’s the best way to shore up victory, notwithstanding those more luck-based ones?

Be moderate in the iusses, but if you can attack Roosevelt, then don´t hold back (obvious with the exception of Quentins death). Promise end of mobilisation to the old guard but nothing more. The wrong answer with the trenchcoat gang isn´t so bad, but I got the feeling, simply scalinng back your campainigne may be milder in damage.
