South Africa: if Southern Rhodesia had voted to join the Union in 1922, would it have led to the annexation of Bechuanaland, Basutoland, and Swaziland

Keep in mind that South Africa controlled South-West Africa (modern Namibia) at the time. Annexing Southern Rhodesia (modern Zimbabwe) would have resulted in extremely gerrymandered borders (see below):

So, if the referendum had gone the other way, would South Africa have annexed Bechuanaland (modern Botswana), Basutoland (modern Lesotho), and Swaziland?
