Then, just to be petty and screw with the MCU, DC does not permit spidey to be used in any film formats ever, and bins the character, permanently as far as movie formats are concerned. Twitter and reddit crash due to flame wars and outrage of MCU fans.

Tho crashing Twitter has some appeal, I don't think you can do it. Most movie deals will have a "make by" date or rights revert, to keep studios from screwing over rights owners in just this way.
