If anyone's interested, here's a brief summary of the retrospective election results so far. There have only been 8 elections out of 18 in which the winner did not have a majority of the vote here (fewer than I thought). The narrowest victory was that of Debs over Taft in 1908, whereas the biggest landslides were those of Washington in 1789 and 1792. In 1932, FDR had the widest margin of victory after Washington.
