Anyone else ever thought that the US might enact something between Holodomor and the Morgenthau Plan upon the former Confederacy? Following the Second Great War and all of its bloodshed.
Sounds reasonable for me.
Some slightly watered Morgenthau is possible but I don't think that going even close of Holodomor. At end Northerners wants to integrate the South to the USA not find ways to make them even more hostile. Yes, they would are definitely very harsh and occassionally very oppressive but hardly are going to same level as Stalin's Soviet Union.
