Operation DRACULA OTL was SEAC's planned reconquest of Malaya and Singapore after Burma had been fully retaken by 14th Army, which however was never needed due to the atom bomb. However, could anybody design a TL where Operation OLYMPIC goes ahead, and so does DRACULA ? Of course, there'd also be a continuation of the Australian campaigns in the NEI after the mid-1945 landings by 6th and 7th Divs on Borneo- how would a projected invasion of Java and Sumatra proceed, supported by the British Pacific Fleet (whose carriers had conducted sustained bombing of oil and military facilities at Palembang and Surabaya)? I just thought of this aspect with the planned SEAC reconquest of SE Asia and the NEI at the same time as an invasion of Japan, since the former aspect I've found has never really been dealt with in AH texts on DOWNFALL and OLYMPIC.
