So what if as part of the Beeching Cuts of British Rail in the 1960's the axed railway lines were, with the exception of those that became heritage lines, all converted into cycle tracks?
 
So what if as part of the Beeching Cuts of British Rail in the 1960's the axed railway lines were, with the exception of those that became heritage lines, all converted into cycle tracks?
How many of those axed railway lines are on routes that would be useful as cycle tracks?
 
You don't see it becoming like the canal network with parts seeing much more traffic than it ever saw in commercial use?
