Maryland 2014, Larry Hogan vs Anthony Brown. The basemap is a map by Homely on Uselectionatlas on the 2012 Gay Marriage referendum.

Added Charles County and Washington County to the Map. Lot of 70-80% Republican precincts in the northern parts of Maryland.

Baltimore County is a deep shade of blue.

Added a vast majority of Baltimore City and the rest of the Eastern Shore minus Salisbury.

Progress is inevitable! Anne Arundel County, Howard County, and a large portion of Montgomery County added.

And it's complete! PG is obviously a deep shade of Red. Salisbury has about 20 Precincts but 7 on the map. Weird stacking of districts makes it nigh impossible to do. It's only the rural spots (ie Poolesville and Damascus) that voted for Hogan. The rest of the county (basically the populated cities of Rockville, Gaithersburg, Takoma Park) all voted Democrat, so I don't see much of an improvement.

Almost all of the >50% Brown districts were in the 60s-70s in 2008. Moco went from 70.92-27.05 to 61.81%-36.75% That's quite the shift.
