Basically, this is a world where we're assuming that the Russian Republic was still established, and the Bolsheviks still attempted a second revolution, but because of all the successes of the Central Powers in WW1 (you may assume what causes this) the Russians ask the Central Powers for help, they agree, forcing the Russians to make Belarus, Ukraine, Finland (Greater Finland), and the Central Asian nations independent while giving the Caucasus nations to the Ottomans in exchange for stopping the Bolsheviks.
