Kaiserreich DBWI: Have you read “The Depths”?

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum.

Headcanon is:
  • America is divided by a Federalist dictatorship and a Syndicalist dictatorship. The border is the Mississippi River. The West democratizes. The East does not.
  • The Federationists win out in the UoB. A slow reconciliation process with Canada occurs over the 50’s and 60’s as the last of the Exiles die out. Canada officially became a republic in 1968. The UoB slowly democratized, and is now a social democratic republic.
  • The Second Weltkrieg ends in a Reichspakt victory. The UoB placed out with Germany after France fell in 1941. France itself is a German puppet.
  • Our friend Savinkov takes power in Russia, attempts to invade Ukraine during the Second Weltkrieg, only to be thrown back by the Germans. His anti-minority actions and forced Russification made him deeply unpopular in many parts in the country. Combined with a liberal underground movement and several crushed protests, in late 1947, the Second Russian Civil War takes place. Unfortunately, Savinkov wins after five years of brutal fighting, and continued to rule until his death in 1956. Russia only grew worse from here, and is now North Korea writ large.
  • China: (OOC: I know literally nothing about China in KR, so to make @Whiteshore happy, let’s say that Blessed Chen wins.
  • Germany attempts to hold on to Mittleafrika. They fail. Badly. Both the many rebel groups and Germany are completely unsympathetic.
  • Bulgaria loses the Third Balkan War. The Ottomans win the Arabian war.

As we know, The Depths is a terrific TL made by ColBear, and the premise is that the Central Powers lose the First World War. This then leads to a World War Two, which is just horrific, with the Death Camps and all. Then, there was a brief glimmer of hope when the Axis were defeated, only for the world to plunge into Darkness when the Cold War begins. Any thoughts about it.

PS: ColBear for Colorado Bear.

speaking of DBWIs the "OOC" has already been used so I think this should go to shared worlds rather than stay here since it falls under RP

It is interesting if you like extreme dystopias but bordering ASB territory IMO. Why would anyone pay attention the German Nationalist Party when it is run by a madman like Adenoid Hynkel ( ;) )? The Germans aren't raving loons. Benzino Napaloni is a bit better, he is merely a swaggering buffoon not the kind of genocidal lunatic that Hynkel is. Also what he does with Petain is sad IMO. The way he caves into Hynkel is unrealistic IMO. Lenin taking over seems a bit of a stretch, his Bolsheviks were more united than the Mensheviks but they had no outside help and were somewhat outnumbered. When the SRs and Mensheviks got the Kadets to join them Lenin was finished. Even if he won I doubt he would be the kind of murderous dictator as depicted in the TL. Celovek Zelezo (Russian for Man of Iron) is almost as murderous as Hynkel and both he and Hykel seem to have weird ideas about farmers. The first thinks that they are basically scum and the second idolizes them. I guess that makes for an interesting contrast.

(note: Hynkel and Napaloni are basically Hitler and Mussolini in the Great Dictator)
