Seriously, I doubt the Chinese will get so enthusiastic that quickly. NV later said that the Soviets had a lot more influence over the DRV than the PRC. After all, in 1975, the PLA still had no rank system, and was an infantry army with little modern artillery and armour. What they did have was pirated Soviet equipment. Then you'd have another Korea, which was the only possible route for an independent SVN IMO.
