Irish religion with no English nd Scottish reformation what happens?

In otl catholic and protestant in Ireland were in fact terms defining 'planters' and their descendants and the descendants of those who lived in Ireland before the 12th century.

What would happen to faith if England and Scotland remained Catholic?

Planters were mostly Presbyterian Scots and thus different from the descendants of the Anglo-Norman followers of the Lordship then Kingdom of Ireland.
They were planted as not all the "old English" converted to Anglicanism and James I/VI wanted to expand his control there.
If no Reformation in England or Scotland then likely the loyal vs disloyal Irish divide is set up.
