Hello there, I’m Captain Robert Anderson of the International Agency for Multiverse Studies. You probably already know what we do. Travel to new universes, make contact with the locals, assess their culture, technology, environment, yadda, yadda. I’m making it sound more boring then it is, but you get the point.
Anyways, the higher ups wanted to put together a scrap book of sorts to give civilians like you a better understanding of what it’s like to work in the strangest and most expansive frontier us hairless apes have ever seen: The Multiverse.
PS, Here’s a pick of me when I worked with Recon Team 90. Exploring a lovely little parallel catalogued as Earth 1905-Zeta. The locals, who had just discovered the radio where warm and welcoming. The wasps the size of falcons, not so much.

I know you’ve got a lot on your plate recently with the Consortium but you need to take a look at this:
The locals call ‘em Bio-pyramids and according to the recon team there all over Earth 1250-Sigma. The rest of the report goes into further detail but I think we should make formal contact with these people and see if their open to trade, it seems like it could be a good deal for us to see what else they have to offer

A disused locomotive near the IZ on Earth 116-Epsilon. This region, apparently an alternate version of Germany has suffered extreme desertification from as of yet unknown causes. Unintelligible radio signals have been detected, which suggests technological civilization is still present on this parallel. Further investigation is recommended.

A vacation home on Earth 2598-Lambda. Numerous structures like these dot the coastline of this sparsely populated alternate Hawaii. Tight security made closer examination difficult. We suspect this Hawaii is some sort of private vacation spot for the elite of 2598-Lambda’s society. I’m recommending we pick another IZ in a less secure area for more observation of this timeline.

A ‘mermaid’ being carried by human staff to specialized water tanks during negotiations between the two species on Earth 4890-Tau. Me and the team would like to bring more personal here to study the unusual evolutionary paths taken on this parallel.

We managed to capture this photo of a Consortium ‘mech’ being transported on Earth 2234-Gamma. The Imperial Japanese here are deep in the Consortium’s pocket and their definitely reaping the rewards of this partnership. We’ve identified an number of other pieces of Consort tech on this parallel, though luckily they don’t have wormhole scanners up yet. I recommend we pull out soon, the Kenpeitai are on the lookout for interdimensional agents.

One of the odder parallels we’ve come across. The natives of Earth 886-Kappa apparently constructed this replica of a gas station after scanning the brain of Captain McKenna. Apparently they thought it would help put the recon team at ease, though most visitors find it unnerving. Despite their strange behavior the natives have generally been amicable and willing to answer our requests.

A typical apartment complex in Appalachia, a small republic on Earth 2667-Iota. The native culture is very eco-friendly and much focus is placed on minimizing human impact, hence the small footprint of these buildings. Me and my grad students have learned a lot from our visit.

A mechanical horse in use on a farm on the eastern fringes of the Byzantine Empire. These machines are fairly common on Earth 1174-Rho. The locals have been willing to let us examine simple farming equipment like this, but we’re still negotiating for more detailed schematics.

A “fairy path” on Earth 367-Zeta. These natives uses them to safely traverse the dense purple forests on this parallel. They specifically warned us not to leave these trails as there are significant hazards in the woods such as predatory animals and carnivorous plants.

During our tour of Earth 390-Sigma, the locals showed us some of their parallel’s sports. Without the development of gunpowder Knights never went out of style, though their choice of mount has certainly evolved. They also tell us the armor is made of more advanced metals, but we’ll need the Science Team to verify that. I know we’re not supposed to comment on politics in these things, but I can’t help but wonder what our weapons manufacturers are gonna do when they hear about this place. Sure the Multiverseal Treaty forbids arms sales to other timelines but when has that ever stopped them?

Earth 4678-Gamma is one of the more troubling worlds we’ve come across. We believe the structure pictured above was built by a previously unknown TransDimensional Actor called the Children of the New Sky. They make extensive use of occult forces to a degree we frankly didn’t realize was possible. Apparently their arrival has caused quite a stir among the Indian and Nordic dominated cultures on this parallel between people who welcome these the possibilities these world hoopers could bring and those that fear they are trying to conquer their world. Needless to say the arrival of Recon Team-43 hasn’t soothed nerves. We’ve got a powder keg waiting to go off and we haven’t got a clue what the Children are capable of if we get into conflict with them. I seriously think we need to bring this before the UNSC before things spiral out of hand.

A birds eye view of an Earth 2005-Eta micro city. Much of the area near the IZ in alternate Colorado was covered by this settlement, in addition to more conventional flora and fauna. As far as we can tell these microchip like structures are teaming with millions of tiny sentient life forms living and working in conditions not to dissimilar to modern humans. Further study was cut short when a swarm of small aircraft attacked our team and forced us to retreat. Interestingly much larger structures scaled for regular humans where visible in the distance during our survey. I’d recommend another expedition further away from the micro civilization to study this parallel. Those tiny missiles really sting.

A resident of Earth 1239-Alpha in typical protective gear. Such measures are necessary after a new type of bio weapon was used during wars between the Kingdom of New France and Grand Columbia left much of the human population of the Americas(as well as some animal species) we severely compromised immune systems. In case your wondering the locals assured us the dog spheres are equipped to handle any messes they might make.

An electric rail vehicle used by the police to patrol Sub-New York. We had to use a local camera after all our equipment was confiscated by the paranoid local government run by the tyrannical New American Frontier party. Apparently some sort of catastrophe has affected the surface of Earth 479-Fie though we weren’t able to discern it’s exact nature before the extraction team got us out.

An impressive thirty three story crescent moon hotel in Baghdad on Earth 1378-Beta. The Umayyad Caliphate sure picked a nice place to put us up we’ll we visited, it’s not often you get the five star treatment when exploring new worlds.

Tactical Responders investigate a possible breach by an unknown life form in a interdimensional research facility here on Earth 0000-Alpha. Incidents like this happen a few times a year and for usually resolved without issue.

A rare photo recovered of a Consortium controlled world. We don’t have a designation for this parallel since this was recovered from an Consort base on an different world.

Image of what appear to be US marines with a graffitied Soviet BRDM, taken by our recon team on Earth 4535 Zeta. They weren't able to see much more before coming under fire. Apparently the IZ we picked to open the wormhole at was the sight of a major armed confrontation.

A structure superficially resembling a American diner on Earth 1959-Alpha. Closer examination revealed it was actually some sort of bio mechanical organism that proceeded to unleash a number of smaller creatures that attempted to consume our team. We were able to escape back to the IZ but three team members died of wounds sustained during the assault. Unfortunately we were unable to recover Specialist Barnes’s remains.
