Box cover for the 2003 hit PC game “Call of Duty”. Set during the Second World War, Call of Duty has four main campaigns: American, Soviet, British and Italian. The American campaign starts with the 1943 invasion of Normandy, and ends with the capture of Berlin. The British campaign covers the Singapore and Burma campaigns. The Soviet campaign is set during the Battle of Stalingrad. The Italian campaign starts with the famous Battle of Trieste and ends with the Liberation of Dachau. The game would come under fire in Italy for its portayal of the Dachau Reprisals (the final mission essentially has the player gunning down unarmed SS guards), but would sell over 4.5 million copies by 2013. It would be followed by an expansion pack, United Offensive, which would add a German, Israeli, and Chinese campaign, in 2004. Finally, it would spawn the long-running, bestselling franchise Call of Duty.

Benito Mussolini's great-grandson Caio Mussolini (b. 1968) was elected to Italian parliament on 2019 general election. Like his famous great-grandfather he is too member of National Fascist Party. He served on Italian army several years being deployed to Italian East Africa. Caio Mussolini is third Benito Mussolini's descendant who has stepped to politics. Caio describes being moderate fascist and supporting Italian nationalism and Italian culture but beign ready some reforms.

Call of Duty 2

Following the success of Call of Duty, Infinity Ward released Call of Duty 2 in 2005. Unlike the first game, which had a health bar and allowed for two primary weapons and a pistol, Call of Duty 2 would simplify things by limiting the player to just two weapons and give the player regenerating health that would take effect as soon as the player got into cover. The campaign itself would be set during the China War, and have three campaigns: Republican Chinese, Italian and American. The game would be praised for its graphics, multiplayer and storyline, and would be released on both PC and Xbox 360. It would sell 5.9 million copies across both platforms, and would set the standard that all following Call of Duty games would adhere to.

Memorial site for victims of Communism in Bratislava, Czechoslovakia. Bratislava was capital city of Socialist People's Republic of Slovakia. Slovakia suffered badly under Communist regime and after collapse of Soviet Union and Communism it re-united with Czechia. Slovakia is currently quiet well recovered but it is still lesser urbanised, poorer and more conservative than Czechia. This has caused rise of Czechian separatism when they feel that Slovakia is just hinderance for Czechian economic boost and ratherly is just money hole.

Change of the guard front of Spandau Prison in 1990's. In 1946 several high ranked nazi criminals were sent to the prison. After Trier Trials several Communist leaders from Soviet Union and its European and Asian allies/slave states were sent there. Last prison Chinese communist leader Yao Wenyuan died in 2002. There was worries that prison would be pilgrimages by neo-nazis and neo-communists so the prison was demolished already at end of 2002.

San Domino.png

Aerial view of a part of San Domino. This island, part of the Tremiti Arcipelago, used to be a place where Fascist Italy exiled homosexuals and "sexual deviants" (usually, but not always, transgenders of either direction and nonviolent sexual offenders). When the island reached capacity, most exile sentences were assigned to the Eritrean island of Nora, whence the San Matteo Correctional Facility was built for the purpose in 1957, and, due to the higher standard of living and the rarity of posts, San Domino became a "Golden exile" spot for the sons and daughters of people high up in the social hierarchy.

When in 1982 homosexuality was decriminalized and sexual deviancy was narrowed down to nonviolent sexual offenses (while "aggressive crossdressing", as it was referred to, became a civil offense) with a prison sentence and not exile, and with the Rutelli Amnesty (from the name of the proposer) allowing the exiled still serving sentences to go back home, while the condemned to Nora left as soon as they could (thus leading the island to go from 1599 inhabitants in 1981 to 255 the following year) for Eritrea or Lybia, almost half of the people still on San Domino decided that they wanted to stay and live on the island. Over time, San Domino became a LGBTQ hotspot, a known-unknown paradise where sexual minorities in Italy could escape the rest of Italy's mostly conservative culture to expressed themselves, however briefly.

As time went on, attitudes regarding LGBTQ people relaxed in Italy and its colonies (also thanks to a clever use of both traditional cultural figures and a willful misunderstanding of Evola's ideas), and, in 2017, femminelli and maschielli were allowed to legally change name and sex, and homosexual couples were allowed to have some of the rights granted to heterosexual married couples (though both giving the bond the name of "marriage" and the option of sharing propriety is still considered off-limits). As a result, both Nora and San Domino became icons for the Italian LGBTQ community: one for the struggle it gone went throught, the other for the successes it achieved.

Nowadays San Domino is a major party tourism hotspot: nary a day in Summer passes without seeing at least two people not from the island and one non-Italian; and the Pride Event (traditionally held every 30th of July, as that's when the Rutelli Amnesty was declared) is the largest of all of Italy. Naturally this causes plenty of Somalians and Eritreans (with Outer Abyssinians too busy in hating foeigners to give them much thought) to grumble, lamenting "degeneration", but their voices on the matter are mostly ignored.

BertoBraghequadre.png

Concept art of "Roberto Braghequadre", one of the main characters of Il Gazzettino dei Minuscoli, a comic series parodying the cartoon strips that could be found on Il Corriere dei Piccoli and other Italian children's comics in the Fifties-Sixties. Supposed to mock the overly glamorous depictions of balilla activities and the contrived plots that could be often found in the original version, Roberto is an aggressive, loudmouthed, and overly enthusiastic balilla that in his efforts to prove his patriotism and willingness to serve the Duce often puts himself and others in grave danger, saved only by blatant deus ex machina or by having his opponents take pity on him. The strip is considered extremely controversial, but it's often defended on the basis that it doesn't mock Fascism as a whole, but "brainless Fascism", as the creators put it.

Aerial photo of Aland island in Finland. When Soviet Union occupied Finland in 1944 most of Alanders fled to Sweden. Soon after establishment of Finnish SSR Soviet Union established there military base against all international treaties which guaranteed demilitarisation of the islands since Crimean War. There was even some nuclear warheads targetted mostly against Sweden and Norway. By 1955 Aland was totally populated by Russian military personels and their families.

When Soviet Union collapsed in 1972 most Russians left the islands and all military equipments were withdrawn. Finnish government allowed remaining Russians live there like elsewhere other places in Finland though without Finnish citizenship and they were seen as Russian citizens. Soon some Swedish speaking Alanders returned to the islands and there moved too much of Finnish speakers too. So it became demographically very different what it was yet in 1944. In 2020 there lives 25 000 people and 62 % speak Finnish, 27 % speak Russian and 11 % Swedish. The islands were reconstructed quickly and nowadays it is popular tourist destination among Finns and Swedes. Aland is still its own province altough it hasn't much of autonomy.

Arjen Rudd, the main villain of the movie Lethal Weapon 2 in which two police officers from Los Angeles try to avoid the smuggling gold into South Africa. Due to the rogue nature of the South African state, the "Afrikaner villain" has become a cliché in movies, comics, and novels.

Shah Reza Pahlavi at the tomb of Cyrus the Great during the 2,500th anniversary celebrations of the Persian Empire. Before it the Shah swore that Iran would be reunited and returned to its former greatness.
While the lavishness of the celebration was quite unpopular across broad sectors of society, it was soon forgotten when Northern Iran fell less than 6 months later and the Iranian nation was finally reunited.

Mao Zedong, leader of North China, announces invasion to South China in 27th February, 1948. Easy looking invasion turned as almost five years lasted disastrous war which would kill about 70 millions people mostly due famines and human wave tactics by PLA.

china-jiang-qing-historical-photo.jpg

Jiang Qing, second and last leader of People's Republic of China informally North China. She assumed formal power after her husband Mao Zedong was ousted and arrested in 1952. Firstly she was ratherly just formal leader but soon she got more power. But she was very incapable leader and North China remained pretty poor condition even as communist nation. Jiang too became infamous due her terrible propaganda movies which she personally wrote, directed and even acted main roles acting even teen girl despite being some decades too old. Jiang and her government was badly out of reality and people hadn't much if any respect towards their leaders. When South Chinese troops reached Beijing in 1973 Jiang locked herself to her private movie theater where she watched her movie until she died from dehydration.

Jinnah declaring independence of Pakistan in 10th June 1950. This officially launched Indian Civil War. Jinnah led Pakistan until September 1950 when he died from lung cancer.

Khawaja Nazimuddin led separatist Pakistan from September 1950 to September 1952 until capital city Karachi fell to Indian troops and finished existence of Pakistan. Nazimuddin's corpse wasn't ever found and it created several rumors his survival and being hiding. Most historians anyway believe that he was killed on bombing of Karachi and body was beyond of recognition and probably buried to mass grave.

A Muslim boy in India being made to work at a young age carrying bricks. With a Hindutva ideal many Indians feel is acceptable and the "taint" of leading a rebellion against India, many Muslims are treated as practically second-class citizens with Muslims working in slave-like conditions, if not actually slaves, even if slavery is illegal in India, with many Muslim workers slaving under Hindu masters. The condition of Muslims in India, who are treated poorly with Hindu nationalism being considered the norm in India, has resulted in a situation where 1/3rds of the Indian population does not share in the prosperity that India has developed over the past few decades with Punjab and Bengal being amongst the poorest areas of India, with many Muslim factory workers still working as if it is the 19th Century even in the 21st Century, working 12 hours a day every week with no day offs on Fridays and with wages human rights organizations allege are far below what the national minimum wage laws require. Farmers in this region fare little better, trapped under feudal arrangements and many tied to the land through debts they have to pay to Hindu or Sikh landlords.

OTL note: India has the largest number of "modern-day slaves" with 18.3 million people in India in 2016 being reported to be suffering under modern-day slavery.

Sarajevo, capital of Bosnia. Bosnia is part of dual monarchy of Kingdom of Croatia-Bosnia. Bosnians are mostly Muslims and Bosnians form about 1/3 of population of Croatia-Bosnia. Bosnians have kept most of their Muslim-based culture. Bosnia is one of most notable centers of Muslim communities in Europe beside Chechnya,D agestan, Tatarstan and Bashkortostan. Despite pretty high cultural nationalism Bosnians mostly support keeping dual monarchy around instead being totally independent. Sarajevo is most popular tourist destination in Bosnia after Mostar.

Chelsea FC owner and Israeli billionaire Roman Abramovich poses for a photograph to mark Holocaust Memorial Day.

Born in Tel Aviv in 1966 to Jewish refugees from the Soviet Holocaust, Abramovich served in the Israeli army before starting a business selling rubber ducks. He rose to prominence in the 1990s, as he made a fortune from importing oil from Russia and the Middle East for his refineries in Israel, as well as his purchase of two near-bankrupt steel mills in Wales and on Teesside and starting Israel's most successful mobile phone company. He purchased Chelsea FC in 2003, turning the club from a top six side to one of the best in Europe.

As seen in the picture, Abramovich has also used his wealth to educate people about the two Holocausts, and the atrocities committed in the names of Nazism and Communism.

Italian M13-40 medium tanks moving into Jordan in support of Israel’s invasion during the First Arabian War.

By the end of the Second World War, the M15-42 medium tank was quickly becoming the mainstay medium tank of the Royal Italian Army and the M13-40 was being phased out. The First Arabian War would be the very last time the M13-40 would see combat within the royal army, the tank was discontinued shortly after the end of the conflict. Many were either scrapped or sold abroad to countries like Thailand, Cuba, or Venezuela.

The box art for the 2010 First Person Shooter Call Of Duty Black Ops. The last of the ‘historical’ Call of Duty games, Black Ops was set during the later stagesf the Cold War. The player character, Alex Mason, was a Central Intelligence Agency operative working in the Communist bloc. Featuring such historical events as the 1971 Russian Revolution, the fall of North China, and the liberation of Edo, the player often worked behind the scenes, hunting down members of a Communist conspiracy to ‘Bring the West to it’s knees.’ The game would be criticized for its numerous historical inaccuracies, its lackluster plot, and attempts at moral equivalence between the East and West. It was boycotted in Russia for its depction of Malenkov as a scheming plotter, and in Japan for it’s unflattering portayal of the liberation of Edo as being a return of the Japanese Empire. Despite this, it managed to sell around 26.6 million copies by 2013, across the PC, Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii.

Mikhail Botvinnik was one of most famous chess players of his days. He held chess world championship until 1970's. Firstly he played under flag of Soviet Union but he was arrested due his Jewishness and was sent to gulag. He was freed with many other Jews at end of 1952 and expelled to Israel. Formerly loyal to Soviet Union and Communism due treatment Botvinnik lost all of his faith to the system and became staunch Zionist. He continued his chess player career as citizen of Israel. Botvinnik continued his professional career to mid-1970's and even later he continued teaching of chess for prominent Israeli chess players. Botvinnik had massive influence on Israeli chess culture and nowadays many Israeli shcools offer chess classes to children. This has made Israel very dominant chess player nation in the world. During his last years he travelled around the world telling about Second Holocaust.

Paramaribo, the capital of Suriname, a constituent country of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
For a long time it was the most impoverished region of the kingdom although year after year this gap has been closing and now it has a standard of living similar to that of the European mainland. The interior of the region remains an impenetrable jungle inhabited almost exclusively by indigenous tribes. Most of the diverse population lives on the coast. Although there is a small independence movement, most surveys show that over 75% of the population identifies as Dutch and want to continue under the current situation.

Oswald_Mosley_and_Benito_Mussolini_1936.jpg

British Fascist leader Oswald Mosley visiting in Rome in 1948. There he met Benito Mussolini (altough the men have met earlier many times). But at this time the men created even closed alliance between Italian and British fascist parties. Probably around these times OVRA recruited Mosley as their agent which several years later caused bad political crisis and ended Mosley's political career in United Kingdom.
