Harding in 1924?

If Harding was less unhealthy (does not die in 1923), he'd probably run in 1924. Granted, the Teapot Dome scandal was "brewing", but Harding remained popular at the time of his death. Considering how weak and divided the Democrats were in 1924, my suspicion is that Harding would be reelected, though perhaps not resoundingly.
That said, would the fatigue of another term for the corrupt, ineffectual Harding administration make 1928 a banner year for the revivified Democrats, who would then be discredited by the stock market crash?

But Hoover personally disliked Harding, and while he was his Secretary of Commerce, it was only under Coolidge that he rose to prominence. Basically, I don't think he'd of remained in Harding's cabinet for another 4 years.

The Democrats were far too divided in the 1920s, they split literally down the middle in 1924 over the KKK and Prohibition. Winning in 1928 under OTL conditions, or even losing in less than a landslide, is ASB. Plenty of administratons have been corrupt: Two terms of Grantism didn't prevent a third GOP victory, and lest we forget TR's administration had its fair share of scandals leading up to 1904 as well.
