Syragius achieved control of the Lugdunensis Province due to his familial influence there he quickly began preparing the Province for defense from the Franks doing quite well and keeping them at bay following this and his loyalty to Majorian uncovering a plot by the still semi angry Gallo-Roman Nobility quickly he was given control of Aqutaine and began reforming the tax codes which lead to a rebellion leading to the rebels defeat at the battle of Adecavus, Modern day,Adkaf (1)

Syragius transformed Gaul and expanded his influence however a Frankish King named Hildirich known to the Romans as Childericus(2),
Hildirich assembled The Franks and Crossed the Sequana River (Sewane)(3)

THE Battle begun South of the Sewane near modern day Dekiviwus(4) The Frankish Cavalry smashed into the Roman Infantry on the 16th of December, and the Romans broke this allowed Hildirich's Infantry to break through the Romans, the Romans regrouped and proved severe casulties on the Franks with the Left wings of the Frankish Cavalry forced back entirely however the right wing cut off the Romans managing to destroy Syragius's Romans retreated to the Ligär(5)

. Syargius's Son was also captured by Hildirich's army.
Speaking of Dekivwus It was named for the Latin word for decisive, In Frankish

Following the failure and uncovering of the plot to kill him he managed to survive similar attempts and he knew the Vandals that raided Italia need to go.

His army landed at Tingis now known today as تنغيسة,due to how the Roman and Vandal battle defiled the city however it fell after the siege his forces later landed at Saldae where Majorian forced the Vandals to retreat into the heart of Romance Africa: Carthago

The siege began when Roman forces landed on the coast facing tough resistance from Vandal forces Roman reinforcements from Utica demolished the Vandal flank due to the surprise factor the Vandals were defeated and they were chased from Roman Africa, except The Vandals regrouped and went for Egypt all though that is for another time.

Persia and Roman Money

The Sasanian Empire and the Eastern Roman Empire had mutual defense an agreement to protect their lands from invaders north of the
Caucasus mountains. The Persians contributed the manpower and the Romans contributed funds this was voluntary however the Persians began to see it as tribute. However a treasonous general Ardaburius was in cahoots with the Persian aristocracy the Romans ceased all payments the Sasanians viewed this as an act of rebellion by one of their tributaries...
