im slightly confused, how can you specifically make a something without something that doesnt exist. wouldnt the nonexistence of the thing mean that any map would not included them. also why would a european be less able to do this than others?

I dont know if u meant this, but I just sketched this map.
The borders of all the states are drawn in lines cause most of them are like that anyway and otherwise it would take me to much time.
There are to few states cause I didnt want to make it a precise map, just a fast sketch, and I so I didnt draw the small states in the east either.
