DBWI Kayne West doesn't go into country

Kanye West currently the reigning champion of country music for years.

A man who shattered Nashvill's expectations and essentially laid the foundation for numerous other artists who followed initially thought about going into hip hop.

What if he had how would that have changed country music?

Well I heard after Hurricane Katrina, Kanye was going to go volunteer and help assist there but got lost and ended up in a bar and saw a singer singing country and well the rest is history

Perhaps if he hadn't gotten lost he would have continued his original path of trying to become a rapper has he so described it in some interviews he had

Probably Kanye remains a pretty obscure artist, lost among the countless other rappers and hip hop artists hoping to stand out. The reason that he had such success in country was because he broke from the orthodoxy and introduced hip hop elements to the genre, blending them seamlessly. Of course there was lots of pushback initially, but the charts don't lie; country fans love Kanye West.
