John Adams or John Quincy Adams, i forget, lost both the popular and electoral vote how would that affect us knowing that we had one of our Presidents really shouldn't have been President? do we make Georg W. Bush our 42nd president and so forth? do we make up a lie and change history to say the George Washington had a longer presidency?

Seems to me this POD requires no 2nd Amendment saying that the President can only have one six-year term... maybe it says something else instead?

Possibly, if the framers weren't so concerned about making sure a president couldn't become a king... I wonder if we'd still have 18 amendments on the Bill of Rights in this world?
