Books like Lest Darkness Fall?

Sooo anybody knows any books with a similar premise? Guy gets dropped in the past and has to deal with it. Whether he creates a different timeline or simply adapts to his environment makes no difference to me. I don't mind fantasy/science fiction elements. I only know of 2 books like that:

1632 - An american town gets dropped in the HRE. Freedom/democracy wank tbh. I can accept one protagonist that wants to FREEEEEDOOOOM! Not a whole town of them.

Outlander - Some nurse gets dropped in the XVIII century Scotland and starts cucking her husband with a young scot warrior. But she finds a way to justify being a sloot so it's okay I guess.

I'd appreciate any help or recommendations. Also if you know any other forums/sites where I can post this question pls let me know. Thank you for your time.

Sounds like you might be the kind of person who would enjoy the Conrad Stargard series, by Leo Frankowski.

I know what an ISOT is. It just often gets interchanged with isekai and that creates some problems for me. As for my account, I created it over a year ago but I don't spend a lot of time on AH due to lack of free time. Anyway, thanks for the link.
