Example
  1. People/State; Bantu, Possibly Zulu or Asante type
  2. Location & place; Africa, East Africa-Great Lakes
  3. POD or Premise; Formation of a Zulu-like military state earlier in the Bantu Migration
  4. Questions; How would this affect the Migration? Would they be able to form a state that resists colonialism?

  1. People/State; Phoenicians
  2. Location & place; Southern Spain-North Africa
  3. POD or Premise; Phoenician cities coalesce into a second state to rival Carthage possibly based around the Tartessos culture.
  4. Questions; Could Carthage allow this? Would they be forced to ally with Rome to survive?

  1. People/State; Napoleonic Empire
  2. Location & place; Western Europe
  3. POD or Premise; Napoleon nominates his step-son Eugene de Beauharnais as his heir in 1810, never divorcing Josephine
  4. Questions; Would other Marshals accept this [pretty sure Murat would not, maybe not Ney]. Would the Coalition accept this or would alliances change?

  1. People/State; India, Vijayangar
  2. Location & place; Indian sub continent
  3. POD or Premise; Hindu State, Vijayangar defeat Islamic Indian States and create a Hindu version of Mughal Empire centred in the Deccan.
  4. Questions; Can they expand? Can they reverse the Islamification of Indonesia using Chola style conquest?

  1. People/State: Tupi
  2. Location & Place: Brazil/Atlantic South America (Modern-day São Paulo to Argentina, Paraguay and Rio Grande do Sul)
  3. POD or Premise: Tupi tribes unify under a single leadership and are able to resist European colonization and establish some sort of control over their lands
  4. Questions: Could they last or would the Portuguese/Spanish still exterminate them? Is it possible for them to expand further into Argentina, maybe establishing control over the Rio de La Plata watershed and colonizing OTL Buenos Aires?

  1. People/State; Peru/Inca
  2. Location & place; Amazon-South America
  3. POD or Premise; Inca conquest of the Amazon culture area BEFORE Portuguese/Spanish contact- also providing knowledge of smallpox .
  4. Questions; With contact [and presumably conflict] with the Portuguese before the arrival of Pizarro, how likely are the Incas to fall for Pizarro's false goodwill. With an army of 80,000 Incas in northern Peru, could Pizarro's expedition survive? What are the results of an Incan victory?
  5. Edit, Later thoughts; Smallpox- Incas may still succumb to 50-90% casualties but should have time to recover before Pizarro arrives. Inca army size of 8,000-40,000 should still be enough to defeat the 2-400 Spanish BUT will the Incan state survive the massive loss of manpower, although equally reduced, will their subject/ conquered states rebel?
Alternative- Incas manage to isolate smallpox to the Amazon by using the Northern Bolivian culture as a quarantine, although they would still lose a large % they will likely gain a certain amount of immunity in the form of recovering victims.
