I think defeat of Prussia in this TL may be a good thing for the Germans of all states in a long run.
OTL victory in Franco-Prussian War justified Prussian militarism in Germany, which eventually led to German loss of blood and land in the two world wars.
Hopefully TTL's defeat would mean more liberal reforms in the Northern German states.
