Automotive AHC/WI – A State-owned or Co-Operative UK People’s Carmaker

any ATL Fedden / Co-Op equivalent would have featured the same rear-engined RWD (plus air-cooled Flat-4) layout yet with different styling.
I'm losing track... So a front/front variant of the Type 633 isn't on, & the sloping hood has to wait (because it's pointless with a rear engine)? Or do you care, given a rear engine, & just want *DS19/*Commander styling because you can?

Based on when the Type 633 was developed such cars would likely feature a rear-engine layout, at the same time it might be possible to carry over the styling once the company switches to the conventional front-engined RWD layout.

Interestingly it seems Dante Giacosa did give consideration to having the Fiat 500 adopt a front-engined FWD layout prior to ruling it out, with Polski Fiat later developing a front-engined FWD version of the related Fiat 126 known as the Fiat 126p NP. Whether Fedden / Co-Op motors would have followed the example of Polski Fiat by converting their rear-engined cars to a front-engined FWD layout is another matter.
