Mosvadoon (English)/Moskvalon (Russian)
The Capital of the World in a world empire co-dominated by Britain and
Russia, located on the border between Prussia and Poland.
Founded in 1870 after the formation of the World Empire Alliance.
Filled with the Beaurocratic institutions that regulate the relations
between the British and the Russian realms as well as the minor powers
in the alliance, the population in 2005 is about 2 Million though only
250000 of those live within the actual capital district, the others
live in the outer suburbs in Poland and Prussia, most in Poland.
Prussia is in the British sphere of influence and Poland is in the
Russian sphere of influence. Population stats of the capital district:
30% Prussian Germans, 30% Poles, 15% Russians, 15% English, 5% Scots,
5% other.
The Chambers of the democratically elected World Empire Council and the
main residence of the World Emporer/Empress are located in the city

The Decadent Empire of New South Wales
Established in 1835 after the dissolution of the British Empire, as a
result of an apocalyptic series of plagues. Formed from the Colony of
New South Wales which was formed in the early 18th Century. Located on
the eastern side of the Terra Australis continent.
Capital in Sydney.
The Empire initally covered the Eastern portion of Terra Australis,
and at its height covered all of Terra Australis, Aotearoa, Papua and
various parts of the Malaya and the East Indies, in the 1890's. It
remained at its height for about 20 years. Then started to decay after
winning a war against an alliance of Siam and the Raj of Bengal.
In 2005 all that remains of the Empire is Sydney, its surrounding
region, the coast northwards including Newcastle upon Hunter. The
southern coast down to Bega, the Southern Terra Australis Alps down to
the highest mountain on the continent, Mount Drake, and the western
plains as far as the Darling River.
The name was changed in 1940. After a successful mass rebellion spread
from Arnhem Land to the Barrier Reef region
The neighbouring nations in 2005 are in clockwise direction from
north-east:
- The Pitcairner Pacific Hedgemony, in its presence on New Pitcairn
(Formerly known as Norfolk) Island
- The Aotearoan Federation of Maori States (On the Northern Island of
Aotearoa)
- The Empire of Tasmania (Based in Tasmania, conquered most of the
Southern Island of Aotearoa)
- The Melbournian Republic (Actually several Protectorates of the
Melbournian Republic)

Britain
But it isn't the usual alternate Britain
Wessex.
- Location: The extreme southern portion of Britain from Cornwall and
Devon eastwards towards London but south of the Thames, no futher east
than London. Some colonies on the southern coast of Wales and one
colony in southern Ireland
- Capital: Exeter
- Languages: Wessesc (Derived from Old English with very little Norman
French influence, with some Celtic influence, small amount of later
English and Norse influence), various Celtic languages.
- Established: Initially in the Germanic takover of post-Roman
Britannia. Absorbed other Anglo-Saxon kingdoms, under Alfred the Great,
after the Norse invasion. Forms England, which is later taken over by
the Normans. A successful rebellion against the Normans occurs in the
early 12th Century, forming the current state of Wessex.

Kent
- Location: To the east of Wessex and south of London and the Thames,
though it also controls the Channel Islands and Calais
Capital: Dover
- Languages: Kentaise (Derived from Norman French, with Wessesc, later
English and Norse influence), some Wessesc, English and French
speakers.
- Established: It is what remains of the Norman reigime that once
ruled up to a third of Britain, a quarter of Ireland, and half of
France, and other European regions besides. After rebellions and wars
it was reduced to its current size by the end of the 15th century. It
has lost all the colonies it had during the colonial period.
- Type of Government in 2006: A Federation of Dukedoms
City State of London
- Location: London, North of Wessex and Kent, South of England.
- Languages: English, Wessesc and Kentaise
- Established: Became independent of England in the 18th Century after
a long period of relative autonomy. Is a neutral arena for the
discussions and other diplomacy surrounding the disputes between the
British states.
- Type of Government in 2006: A Municipal Republic
England
- Location: North of Wessex and Kent, East of OTL Wales, borders on
the Irish Sea, and then the northern Norse derived realm along the
Hadrianic Wall, then bordering the North Sea and the other Norse
derived realm which is mainly in the southerly 2 thirds of the OTL
Danelaw. The border comes close to London.
- Capital: Oxford (Even though it is on the border with Wessex)
- Languages: English (OTL English, some Wessesc terms have replaced
some terms of Norman French origin, also heavier Norse influence),
Wessesc, Norse derived languages, Welsh, Kentaise
Estabished: Initally after the original Wessex united the Anglo-Saxon
Kingdoms against the Norse threat. Then after the Norman Invaision
became part of Normandy. The present England was established from a
rebellion against the the Normans that began in the early 13th Century.
England was established officially in 1265. reaching its current size
by 1340. England too had colonies in the colonial period, but by 2005
all of them had acheived independence.

Breta
- Location: Between England and the North Sea
- Capital: OTL Norwich
- Languages: Bretanish (Derived from Danish, with Anglo-Saxon, Norman
French and English influences), English and Anklisc (Also derived from
Old English but with very heavy Bretanish influence, less than 5000
native speakers in 2006)
- Established: 1120 after the local Althing issued a declaration of
independence to Denmark. Short period of fighting, but Denmark then had
other worries to attend to... Had later wars with the other Norse
realms, mainly over colonies in the colonial period.
- Type of Government in 2006: Republic (But the system of government
hasn't changed much since independence, Breta was also the first
country to grant universial sufferage, in the early 19th Century)
Braitenorge
- Location. Between England, along the Hadrianic Wall, and the
northern part of the main Celtic realm, bordering at a line between the
Firth of Forth and the Firth of Clyde, including the Isle of Arran and
a stretch of Irish coast north of OTL Belfast
- Capital: OTL Berwick upon Tweed
- Languages: Braitenorge Norwegian (They call it that, but the
Norwegians say that it is as different from Norwegian as Bretanish is
from Danish, the language is actually in between), English, Bretanish,
Celtic Languages.
Established: 1420 - declaring independence from the Swedish Empire,
actual independence in 1435

United Kingdom of Celtic States
- Location: North of Braitenorge, except the Hebrides, most of eastern
Ireland and most of Wales, east of England and north of the Wessex
enclaves.
- Capital: OTL Dublin.
- Languages: Various forms of Gaelic, Scots (similar to OTL Scots),
Welsh (with Gaelic and Wessesc influence), English, Braitenorge
Norwegian and Wessesc.
- Established: 1750 after union of the United Kingdom of Scotland with
the Kingdom of Ireland and Wales.
- Type of Government in 2006: Constitutional Monarchy.
- Has more than 15 constituent states. kingdoms, principalities and
counties, the process of union of the disparate Celtic states predates
Norman Invasion.
Kingdom of the Hebrides
- Location: The Hebrides islands
- Capital: ?
- Languages: Hebrides Gaelic
- Established: in the 900's after the Norse are fought off.
- Type of Government in 2006: Constitutional Monarchy
Anglesly
- Location: The Island of Anglesly
- Language: Anglesly Welsh
- Established: 1987 at independence from Wessex
- Type of Government in 2006: Republic
 
That's still a bit confusing... the British Empire broke together, but now also shares the World capital with Russia?

Or are those bits not all from the same TL?
