Alternate Domination

Many of us are familiar with the Domination of the Draka, as well as variants that have been offered, one of the best by our own Ian.

I would like to start a Draka ATL at an earlier date.

There could be little doubt on the part of the US that the Domination was much like Stalin's USSR in WWII, facing a common enemy rather than sharing any common goals and with a falling out very likely in the long run.

In the original book Marching Through Georgia the Domination actually resorted to propoganda and even threats to keep the Alliance for Democracy from ending its involvment against Germany(or even supporting it!).

Let us assume the efforts failed.

Our POD is when the Domination unleashed ALL of the remaining atomic weapons in an effort to break Soviet Spain.

In this OTL the Alliance strikes and either destroys the Domination's capacity to produce atomic weapons, or at least ends production for a minimum of a year. At the same time, bowing to the inevitable, the Alliance offers a settlement that would provide the Domination with substantial gains but less than in the base Domination timeline.

The Pan-European Congress will be left intact as an associate of the Alliance for Democracy. This will include the Scandinavian countries, France, Benelux, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, Austria, the Czech Republic and what we would have called East and West Germany. The Soviet Kola Penninsula will be left as a rump Russian nation.

In the Pacific the Kuriles and all of Sakhalin Island are left to Japan, the US annexes a slice of the Soviet Union(basically the Kamchatka Penninsula and all point north and northeast), and Korea and Manchuria also escape the grip of the Domination.

1) Given the genuine disadvantage they have been caught at, would the Domination accept such a deal? Bear in mind that this leaves them over 90% of the gains in Asia, and at least 50% in Europe.

2) If so, how would this affect the next few decades?

I would go for an alternate POD to Stirling's work. The Domination had conquered Russia when the Germans dumped Hitler for the French Petain.
America's elites were antiRussian but not antiEuropean. When Petain took over the American rightist elite and the leftist administration would decide to back a right wing European dictatorship over the Domination, so the balance of power would shift. Europe (including Britain) was roughly self sufficient in bulk stuff like foods, but not in oil for more than tanks and fighter aircraft. A Europe with Britain allied (munitions for food across the channel) would be much more capable of resisting the Domination and maintaining a balance of power past the Domination's ability to maintain an army in being and simultaneously hold down the serfs in Africa, Arabia, Turkestan, Russia, and most importantly, Rumania and the oil fields.
A Domination and Japanese alliance would help a little, but not much. Pacific Siberia is not critical and Alaska is neither critical nor logistically too far away for America to reconquer. Japan could possibly conquer Australia and the Domination could possibly conquer India if both were in search of yet more imperial overstretch. Maybe the Domination could conquer Australia in search of recruits and the Japanese could conquer India instead of Siberia and the remnants of the Russians?
