OK, could the Allies- with the US as Associated Power- have ended up with a guerilla war quagmire similar to the MAN IN THE IRON HEART, had they occupied defeated Germany in force from 1918 ? How would things like the LOTN, the rise of Communism (incl intervention in the Russian CW), the rise of Nazism etc have been affected ?
