Your country has been defeated in a war, and a peace treaty similar to the Treaty of Trianon has been imposed upon them. What are the terms?

In Canada's case, this mirrors the whole of Austria-Hungary more than solely Hungary. So I'll do this to Canada's counterpart of Hungary: Quebec!

    New Independent Countries from Quebec:
    • Quebec
    • Nunavik
    • Inner Labrador
    • Gaspe et les Iles-de-la-Madaleine
    • Outaouais: to be united with the former Ontarian Ottawa region

If Canada has been crushed that badly then I see no reason why the only possibly perpetrator wouldn't just annex all of us.

also if Greenland defeated Canada then it deserves its fate! :) jk .. we know that the perpetrator would be your awkward cousins to the south who always make family reunions more awkward than visiting the airport

    Canada and mexico split America...

Both quickly realize after 10 months that the whole thing was a giant mistake and regrants the USA independence after building a giant wall around it and declaring it off limits ;)

    Canada keeps Alaska
Mexico keeps new mexico, southern Arizona ( phoenix south ),

This would leave the rump England with a bit of Pan handle to the north, through lancaster, so the whole of the north might need to be broken off.

They are still de facto part of Britain but they control everything except foreign policy, kind of like the Overseas Territories.

    Cyprus takes Akrotiri/Dhekelia
Canada or the USA takes the Virgin Islands, Anguilla, Montserrat, and Bermuda

France takes the Isle of Wight
    Scotland takes Berwick upon Tweed
Wales could take border areas with a historic Welsh minority, e.g. Oswestry
    Ireland takes Liverpool.

Finland becomes fascist in 1930's. It joins to Axis and helps Germans invade Norway. They too invade Sweden. Axis still lost WW2 and Finland suffers great land lossings.

Norway gainst parts of Northernmost Lappland. Sweden takes Aland and North Finland and Norrbothnia. USSR takes Eastern Finland (Finnish Karelia, Savolax and Kymenlaakso. Porkkala and Hanko are annexed to Estonian SSR.

For the Philippines, independent Bangsamoro is a given. The rest of Mindanao becomes a Republic of Mindanao while Visayas, Ilocos, and the Cordillera become separate statelets, leaving Central and Southern Luzon a truncated "Tagalog Republic" saddled with harsh penalties.

    Mountains, everywhere...
Austria had its own "Trianon" but i suppose a second one is also possible:

-Southern part of Carinthia and Styria go to Slovenia as there's some minorities there
-Vorarlberg goes to Switzerland as envisioned after WW1
-Burgenland back to Hungary as it was our own bite out of the original Trianon
-Salzburg can be an independant city state
-the rest of Tyrol goes to Italy
-And Czech republic moves to the northern shore of the Danube in the West

Well, can't really see any timeline where a sole treaty granting all this would actually be plausible, but here goes:

    (1) Italy gets the Ionian Islands and the Dodecanese
    (2) Turkey gets the rest of the small islands of the Aegean
    (3) Crete becomes independent
    (4) Bulgaria annexes Western Thrace
    (5) North Macedonia annexes Thessaloniki and Greek Macedonia
    (6) Albania gets Ioannina and Epirus

Well Trianon means also loosing territory in which doesn’t have majority. For British we can say ot was Indian Independence. ;)

But well for example Slovakia had it’s Trianon. It was called 1st Vienna award. Territory with clearly Slovak majority was awarded to Hungary. Then there was this think called March war 1939 when Hungary occupied independent Ruthenia (no Hungarian majority) and strip of Eastern Slovakia. Again no Hungarian majority. ;)

Denmark re-takes Skåne, Halland & Blekinge, merging it with Bornholm to create the Skåneland region.

Norway re-takes Bohuslän, Jämtland and Härjedalen. Norway also gets the right to occupy Bergslagen to extract war reperations in the form of resources if Sweden doesn't pay.

Finland gets much of Norrland, maybe also a free town of Eskilstuna because it's historically had a lot of Finnish immigrants.

Götaland is broken off of the rest of Sweden, though eventually Småland & Öland secceeds peacefully from that country.

    Gotland becomes independent.

I've often considered how a de-coupled USA would look. No definitive answers, really. Independent New England always seems like the most likely thing, but degree of certainty falls after that. It all depends on who's won and who's fought, really.

No, for the Philippines, Luzon just become independent Tagalog republic, the elite of Luzon is Primarily Tagalog speaking so it does not matter if they speak other languages - they actually agreed with the name Tagalog republic during the Katipunan - Visayas, Palawan, Mindanao and Sulu gain their independences.

So if this happens to Italy:
1)Sardinia either gets indipendent or France annexes it
2)We got our own version of Jugoslavia, with Lombary, Venice and Emilia Romagna united under Salvini's leadership
3)Switterland annexes the Aosta Valley, while Austria does the same with Friuli Venezia Julia and Sud-Tirol
4)Piedmont would see part of its territory annexed by France and by an indipendent Liguria
    5)Indipenent Tuscany
    6)The Papal States are restored
7)A united South Italy, with the exception of Sicily that is made indipendent
