In OTL, the House of Oldenburg, which originated as the rulers of a tiny German County, managed to become one of Europe's most influential royal houses and ruled, at one time or another, Denmark, Russia, Greece, Norway, Schleswig, Holstein, Oldenburg and Sweden.
Your challenge, should you choose to accept it, is to arrange history so that a single ruler from the House of Oldenburg rules ALL of those territories at one time. Your POD can be anytime after 1101 A.D., when the first known ruler from said house, Elimar I, came to power in the County of Oldenburg. Extra points if you can also have the House of Oldenburg, rather than the Hohenzollerns or Hapsburgs, be the force which unifies Germany.
