AHC: More Successful Arab Spring

How could the Arab Spring uprising of 2011- been more successful? Use any POD after 2010 to achieve:
1.) More transitions to a (at least semi-) democratic state in the Arab World
2.) Fewer civil wars
3.) Less backsliding in human rights in the region.

As I see it, you could actually do a lot just w post 2011 PoDs -- the 2012 Benghazi Attacks, for example, soured American in supporting the new Libyan government against Islamist rebels*; Morsi might have been able to salvage Egypt's Revolution if he could find a way to build trust between the Muslim Brotherhood and non-Islamist protestors; and the U.S. getting more involved in Syria was a very close thing in 2013. Now, the extent to which any of these make the Spring more "successful" may be debatable, but at the very leadt they would fundamentally change the legacy of 2011 today.

* even a small change like the ambassador surviving would change this
