Republic of Aremorica-Nono
OTL-Equivalent: Guyana and Eastern Venezuela (the Basin of the River Essequibo)

Nickname: The Ermines
Colours: Purple, Away: Black

The country is from an expedition from a more independent Breton nation which started the colony to join the Slave and Sugar trade of the 17th Century. Though it was officially a French colony it retained its Breton culture and during a recession in France dried up its support it gained its independence from the homeland in the early 18th Century. Though it is a relatively small population (500,000 at the last census) it is a large blending of the Breton Colonisers and the native population. There are also large ethnic British and Dutch Minorities, mainly coming from Mutineers and Pirates who fled capture by the British in the Caribbean, or White European land owners from the Caribbean islands who fled Slave revolts and their reprisals.
The colony was originally named Nevez Aremorica (New Armorica) but recent times and a greater representation of the native populations led to the country being renamed Aremorica-Nono, the Nono being native Carib for the Land.
Manager: Luciano Arvela (Algarvense)

I didn't see this before I posted, but it does cover a team already (Fortress of St. Mary covers parts of Venezuela), and isn't this a bit of a space filling empire? It's a very large nation for a modern day tournament? Can we get a bit of arbitration on it?

Ah ok, well I will get rid of Venezuela then and change it. But you do realise that despite it being a big empire, it covers some small countries.

You can keep Guyana also.
