AH Challenge: Sorbian state in East Prussia

Your challenge, whether you accept it or not, is to have the Allied powers (UK, USA, USSR) carve out a Sorbian state out East Prussia (which would have IOTL been transferred to the Soviet Union as Kaliningrad) in the aftermath of Germany's defeat in WWII.

(If this is too difficult, you can lump all the West Slavic homeland-less ethnic minority groups of Germany (Kashubians, Silesians, etc.) together.)

Perhaps if Hitler/the Nazis grind down on them some more than IOTL, they can be displaced/deported somewhere else by the Nazis, their original homes seized and so on. After the war they can't go back home, so the Allies send them to former-German Koenigsberg?

It's possible, but unlikely. The USSR would still want Koenigsberg, and the Nazi policy towards the Sorbians if I recall correctly was assimilation.

Why force them to move?

The Sorbians in Poland were mostly being expelled to Germany after WWII, as they had largely gone German and were considered to be Germans by the Poles.

So use the Polish Sorbians and motivate the German ones by economic incentives to move (Create a new Lusatia or starve in Germany!).

But even their combined numbers are likely too low to create a viable nation.

A few years ago, they could not find a single Sorbian dancer when they created a Sorbian dance group; they had to hire professional ballet dancers from Germany, France and England to jump around in Sorbian costumes. Sorbian culture is artificially kept alive by non-Sorbians, a tool of local groups to get additional State and Federal funds.
