The guy was a douchebag. I'd rather he die at birth or have a heart attack when he was 10.
Perhaps during a meeting between Hitler and Franco, Franco has minions jump Hitler and his aides and kill them.
Since the Nazi administration was not particularly well-organized, we start having "wars of assassins" between the other top Nazis and the regime collapses.
Franco and Hitler did not get along. Franco refused to get involved on Hitler's side, and, much to the latter's chagrin, helped 60,000 Jews escape to Spain. Hitler met Franco once and hated it so much that he said he'd rather have teeth pulled without anaesthetic than meet with him again.
Perhaps, to have Franco murder Hitler during a diplomatic meeting, Franco needs to get the idea that Hitler is about to invade Spain and overthrow him (perhaps b/c Franco isn't being cooperative--Hitler helped him get into power after all). Franco decides he has nothing to lose.

They give him pretty much a free hand in return for him keeping the armed forces out of politics. He does this by purging conservative officers, replacing them with lower ranking officers, and replacing those officers with better trained noncommissioned officers.
He also improves the weapons used by the armed forces. For the army he gets antitank recoiless rifles, automatic weapons, maybe antitank minelaying. For the navy he concentrates on antisubmarine warfare, especially electronics for aircraft and blimps.
When the war starts Spain's socialist government signs up on the allied side and sends a few divisions to the front. They stop the panzers dead in the Ardennes. The failed invasion causes Hitler to be overthrown, and then the war with Russia starts.
Spain's better antisub techniques keep the Russian submarines (the largest sub fleet in the world) from blockading western Europe. The western Europeans hold out and then roll back the Red Army with American help.

Why does every AH Challange require ASB? 
I admire anyone elses attempt, as I admire people who've never danced before jump onto the floor and attempt the foxtrot and endup doing something simular to marengue. Not that I could tell the difference if I saw it.
