A Queen Twice Over: Mary Tudor the Elder Marries Francis I of France

May I suggest... Killing Louise?
We will see, but not for the moment… Still Louise is not making Claude seriously unhappy, mostly annoy her (and usurp her place) but Claude is too nice and too tired for rebelling to that treatment… Louise is smart enough to not say bad words about Claude or anyone who she cared in her presence, as she know who Madeleine would have no scruples in dealing with her if Claude say only a word about that to her stepmother (and really Brittany is Claude’s own domain)....

[1] As Henry Howard doesn't die TTL, his son is the 5th Duke of Norfolk, not the 4th. And yes, that is Meg Douglas's son. Louise's daughters marry their cousins for the sake of diplomacy.

I have an inkling that it's explained in the story, but why is it that a French Catholic princess marries a Swedish Protestant prince?
France wants the Baltic connection, and they can't have Denmark because the Hapsburgs have got there first. So they throw their lot in with Sweden, albeit reluctantly. Marie is allowed to keep her own faith in private, but has to raise the children Protestant....

Why you have not given the Dukedoms of Ross and Albany (in either order) to the sons of Alexander and Nora?

Does the Duke of Albany still die without male heirs ttl? Because, if so, then James Jr would be Duke of Albany while George would be Duke of Ross :)

Why you have not given the Dukedoms of Ross and Albany (in either order) to the sons of Alexander and Nora?
Jemmy HAS got Ross. And I wasn't sure a third son of Scotland got a Dukedom. The only time I've seen three Scottish Princes, the third was an Earl, so that's what I did here. But yes, George could have Albany.

Why are Louise’s daughters marrying so low? Especially since Alexander has only one more daughter with Nora, I would expect Frances at least to be used as a Scottish proxy
