Flag of République Populaire Démocratique du Quebec
(This is obviously based on USSR flag. I took the background color from original flag and added red parts for greater contrast. Notice both colors are in dark tonation, this was made both because of "intended flag mood" and visuality benefits*. The hardest part was implementing fleur de lis on this flag. I decided to arrange some workers/pensats tools in a shape vaguely resembling fleur de lis. (In your TL you should decide whether this is an official explanation or "sabotage") This proved to be very difficult, as hammers, spades and cogs really don't look like fleur de lis. Two sickles and a chisel might do the trick, but if you know better combination let me know.)

*please ignore the language, English is not my first language

@ crnagora99 As for your second request. Would you like standard Yugoslavian flag without red star, but with row of 6 CoAs on white strip, or something more elaborate?

@ Thande: I have some ideas for that kind of flag (involving red background with silver frames (border+”outer saltrice”+”central canton”), torch in central canton, golden P/U initials in left/right canton standing for “Provincias Unidas”, catchy motto in lower canton and stars/flames in upper canton) (or one involving Spanish flag (gold background two red stripes) shifted by 30 degrees with extra central green stripe “crossing the Spanish flag” with golden “pins” indicating number of member states). Tell me which one do you like better. Or maybe a flag I’ve already made would be OK:

-Yugoslavian Federation (non-communist) with the arms of Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, and Macedonia integrated on the flag. Perhaps with a 2-headed eagle too.

Thanks
I could make this, but I don't know what arms to use for Macedonia or Bosnia. Let me look some more...

Alright, how's this? On the left side are Serbia, Montenegro, and Slovenia (Slovenia using the arms from Royal Yugoslavia); on the right side are Croatia, Macedonia (made up arms using a golden lion, an old Macedonian symbol, on the red-black tricolor used in the Macedonian revolts against the Ottomans), and Bosnia (arms used in Austro-Hungarian times)

@ Imajin: You made this flag in seven minutes? That's quick ;) It often takes me an hour or more to brainstorm and draw more complicated ones. Anyway let's wait for crnagora99 opinion.

Well, when I made my first post I had most of the flag, just not the three arms I mentioned, which were blank areas.

Only the eagle is changed- the base is just the Queen of Yugoslavia's standard.

An alternate UK flag, showing English dominance along with Ireland and Cornwall as Home Nations and Wales being given a spot(or two :D).

Tell me what you think.

Your English is fine, especially considering that we're using pretty obscure flag/heraldic terminology here. And that is one of the coolest flag designs I have ever seen. Making a fleur-de-lis out of Socialist tool symbols? I raise my hat to you, sir.

I prefer the first one of the two designs you mentioned - I think they would avoid anything too referential to Spain, given the bitterness of the rebellion I have planned.

The one you linked to, although a very good design, isn't that appropriate I think for what I have planned.

You're blending heraldic and flag symbols there: I can see what you're doing, but it needs to be more consistent. Use the Scandinavian-cross form of the Norman flag (it's a hollow gold Scandinavian cross on a red background) and the St David's cross (yellow normal cross on a black background) for Wales. I would also recommend giving the central St George's cross a white border: that's as important for identifying it as such as the colour of the cross itself.

Wow. I love that Québec flag. As for the Yugoslavian flag, I just loved Imajin's flag, but could you make me one using perhaps the same coat of arms as Imajin's but on the background of Serbia and Montenegro flag (blue, white, red tricolor) GOOD JOB ALL!;)

Anyone have a pic of the Norman flag with the Scandinavian Cross?

My people!

Well here's the flag of the Bryttish Empire in my Angevin Timeline which shall be undergoing its latest resurrection when I'm back from Hols.

Have a great weekend all:)
