The Eridani Worldbuilding Thread

Also, can anyone make some Heraldric things for me? For example, the house of Richwood: Or, a lion stantant coward vert.
Do you mean Statant Coward? Ie on all fours with tail between legs?
Both Passant and Statant Coward are difficult to show as compared to Rampant Coward (simply just Coward).

This site may help you with the basics though.

"Before the Eerii Kinsrett disaster, Obsidian Swords were common amongst the Potojiliac Nobles. No-one is quite sure how they were made, but it seems that they were chipped off bit by bit for years, getting so smooth that no-one could tell it had been. Obsidian Swords are not so common these days; as most were destroyed in Eerii Kinsrett." The man said, almost sad that they were gone.
"Why can't other people make them, Fro?" Rackel said to her friend, whilst fiddling with her own blade.
"When the sword makers heard of the tragedy, they burned all of the instructions and headed for the ruins of Kinsrett."
"Why would they do that?" She asked.
"No-one knows for certain. Ah, here's our food." The man set down his blade and in it's stead picked up his foodknife.

Oops, I showed up!
The continent to the east has a varied amount of names.

In the Týskan language(the predominant language) it is called Roðýna(Motherland) this is where it gets its common name, Rodhinya, from.
It also has a large amount of indigenous languages (Sanet, Kylnak, Janyut, Qannaaq, Minitut, Kulban, and a bunch of others)

Really good! could you make the coastline a bit farther away from the "main continent"?

Finished the rough outlines for the continents!

@ST15RM Sorry, but that continent really didn't fit :/
You could reuse the names though! :)

DRAGONSLAND:
The only place in the known world to possess native dragons. It is ruled by a "Sysinaxch", or literally "Dragon-Emperor". Densely Jungled, it is not a hospitable place of the people of Eridan.
Dragonsland was almost colonized by the Old Potojiliacs, but due to their dragonriders, they managed to hold them off. The land was very breifly colonized by the late empire of Kortag. Long ago, before even the Old Potojilia, the realm was fractured into 100's, if not 1,000's of tribes and city-states. That was until the "Sysbonogo" came to power. He was the first to tame a dragon, after he found it had ate his child. He took his dragon and united the island, even going as far as warring with the fledgling Kortag empire, and winning. The Sysbonogo was acclaimed to be such a powerful warrior, that he went up to the dragonslander holy city, Sysi'Nasatogo, and beat the dragonslander god of war in personal combat, although this is certainly just a widow's tale. Dragonsland has ruled relatively peacefully ever since. The Kings of Dragonsland get so rich off the sale of Dragon Eggs that it is said that their halls are made of solid gold.
