I cant see the Tsars holding on to mainland Russia
,except maybe with Japanese support.

TL-191 really doesen't make sense. alot of it.

So I usally don't think about it.

And you know what ive never seen? a Freedom Confederacy Victory Scenario in the SGW....

Or that strange little triangle in the middle of the Sonoran Desert. Exactly what was the purpose of that, anyhow?

Coal mines.

Copper mines, I thought. The triangle does look odd, but I think it might have had something to do with what territory was actually under US control at the end of the war.

My TL 191 2008 Election Map

I'm presuming red is for the Socialists, blue for the Democrats, and green for the Republicans?

Cross-posting the Map in the MOTF Thread.

Interesting idea!

Russia keeps Alaska and it pritty much becomes Taiwan

With a POD in 1867 at the latest, there's no guarantee there will be a Soviet Union, but apart from that: how does the Russian Empire in this scenario manage to maintain territories in Eurasia? (Also, what's with the random black line running across the map?)

I thought it was Coal mines.
maybe I'm getting mixed up with something else.

No Soviet Union and Tzarist Russia in Exile on the map, what do you mean?

because you are apparently talking about TL-191 for a map that has absolutely nothing to do with that story.

Random black line is the route that the brave and dashing Romanovs used to cross the Siberian hinterland.
The map has nothing to do with TL-191. They retain far Siberia because the Soviets are more concerned with making a country when they retake it with American support.

Red stands for Socialists (mentioned in the book), Green Republicans (mentioned in the book), Blue Democrats (couldn't think of anything different)

The map I posted on the last page. is what got the discussion going.

again, I ask, when did the Tzars get pushed out of Russia, and the soviet Union take over Russia?

this is the post you quoted:

That has absolutely nothing to do with your map at all.

huh.

also, how did the Soviet union get afghanistan, and how did the Tzars regain all of Sakhalin?

To answer your questions

1 Tsars ran out in 1917
2 I forgot about Sakhalin, and Soviet Union just wants to threaten British India

Here's the map of the world in a world where the Entenate (and the CSA) win the SGW in TL-191

Not bad Abby, though southern Ohio being Confederate is a tad ASBish, IMO. Why not just give the CSA the Delmarva area? The U.S. can still have Baltimore while the CSA gets a couple of nice little ports, which brings them much closer to the one region of the Union they hate more than anything; Yankee Country. :p

I made almost the same map yesterday.
Cool.
I thought Featherston would take some Africa to continue his holocaust.
If that map was real, this world would suck.

Thanks, I don't think anyone's done a map like this before (except Abkhabzia I guess, but hey) so I guess I could set a precedent

Well the Confederates winning is as ASB as the Nazi's winning, I'd figured I'd have Featherston decide to go a little ambitious with his Territorial wants. I'd figure France and Britain would help them achieve whatever they wanted. and with the win in the war, I saw the CSA, Britain and rebellious forces in the west trying to weaken and cut up the USA as much as humanly possible, so it never rose to great power again.

Even for a Confederate victory in the SGW, I tried to make it as realistic as it possibly could.
