Reminds me of a map somewhere that showed how a fourth of Louisiana is underwater, but people show it as land to keep the state's shape as it is.Not really inaccurate, that's the actual state borders of the Great Lakes states. They just added the water sections that are usually pretty rare on US maps.
I think this is from an ATL, because I vaguely remember seeing a map of that USSR on here a few years back
