The People's Republic of Kentucky is a communist country in the former state of Kentucky.
History
Kentucky was one of the northern most states of the Confederate States of America. In 1882 Kentucky seceded from the CSA peacefully because the CSA was in no place for war, still recovering from the First Texan-Confederate War. They then joined the GLC. In 1965 Kentucky Great Lake Democrats started a communist Mexican backed revolt against the GLC. With moderate fighting along the borders of Ohio, Indiana and Illinois for the next four years, the GLC not wanting anymore losses in the Great Lakes Civil War, after the nuclear attacks from Wisconsin, lets Kentucky secede and form the People's Republic of Kentucky. The GLC and PRK maintain a strong alliance and they are working on a more democratic government for the country.
