An early medieval timeline concerning the rise of an empire of the Goths in mainland Europe after the collapse of the Western Roman Empire - a stillborn concept in OTL. The POD is that in 496 AD, a healthy son is born to Theodoric, the ruler of the Goths, unlike in OTL. With a direct successor at hand, Theodoric forges a different future for the Goths.
