Progress, Decline, and Hope won in the 2012 [[Alternate_History/Turtledove Awards]] for Best New Collaborative Timeline, and finished a close second in the polling for Best Shared World.  The timeline is made up of thousands of dates from 2011 onward, formatted both as individual contributions and ongoing series by members.  While a good deal of the content is centered on events from an American point of view, collaborators have undertaken huge efforts to include the points of views of various other powers, most notably Britain, China, Europe, India, and Mexico.
