 I was born in the 17th century, of a long and proud lineage. From my father's side, I was descended from Saladin, that great warrior of the Crusades. Unfortunatly I had not inherited his gifts and was a hot-tempered young lad. I slew my first man at the age of 17 and i was expelled from the villiage. All the way as I traveled to to Damascus, I thought of the rush I had as I spilled his blood, the iron taste that was on my lips.
