Draft and Final Orders

-Go with the Concrete Alternative for dealing with the nuclear waste.
-Throw the book at the Salem Six prosecution wise.
-Go with the recommended Sec Eng.
-Buy up as much of the energy grid as possible as NEA starts to falter.
-Push thorium as we were planning to, emphasizing safety again. (I hope that bi-partisan support is still there, eh ;) )
-Push for regulations on unhealthy food aimed at children in the same line as restrictions on cigarette ads. Deliberately draw the comparison, but also make it clear it's focused on consumers who are minors.
-Require more human oversight of the AI as a stopgap until the engineers get the real problem ironed out.
-Streamline the tax code with the new health care expansion to ensure the program is well funded. A small increase may be needed, but spin it as a net savings by no longer having to pay out of pocket.
-Have the FDA reclassify the caffinator as medical equipment that requires a trained individual to use unless the company puts in extra safeguards.
-Reallocate some resources of our foreign embassies in politically free countries to emphasize tourism to the United States (Siren).
-Have the Secretary of Economic Affairs make a public statement that “the DEA is closely monitoring the situation with the utilities industry, and will make the appropriate responses as and when they may become necessary. Rest assured these are critical pieces of national infrastructure: if anyone seriously think we'd risk jeapordising our security in this way they should think again.” (BL)
