| On the 6th September 2012, AH.com was shaken by [[http://www.alternatehistory.com/discussion/showpost.php?p=6599396&postcount=434|news]] of Robert's sudden death that happened just that day. The members [[http://www.alternatehistory.com/discussion/showthread.php?t=254161|promptly gave their condolences]] to his wife and family. With Robert's untimely departure, we have lost both a founding member and a good, prolific, friendly writer.
