 The Deputy Prime Minister is appointed by the [[ahcom_president|President of AH.com]] and assists the [[ahcom_pm|Prime Minister]] in his duties.  Can act as Acting Prime Minister in the event of the the PM's absence or incapacity.  The DPM may be appointed from a party different to that of the PM's party.  Like the PM, the DPM can propose legislation and items for the [[ahcom parliament|Parliament]] to consider.
