British South Atlantic overseas territories
The current British overseas territories in the South Atlantic Ocean. Island nations that have opted to remain a distant part of the UK instead of going for full independence. These remaining overseas territories are : Ascension Island, Saint Helena, the Tristan da Cunha archipelago, South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands archipelago.
NOTE : If any of these territories would gain full independence from their mother country in the future, please move the territory in question (along with all the TL entries concerning it) to a new separate page. Don't forget to list such a new page alphabetically in the main part of the “Elsewhere” countries index.
