Ares was a white supremacist, anti-Semitic troll who got away with four posts, all but one of them dealing with his favorite subject: Jews, and how much they suck. They were as follows:
an article from a white supremacist blog offering a glowing review of an anti-Semitic book talking/ranting about how Jews had “infiltrated” and “corrupted” science and academia;
a link to an article by the author of said book (Kevin MacDonald, an evolutionary psychology professor at CSU-Long Beach whose “research” has been disowned by the university) about how eeevil the “Zionists” are, not even bothering to conceal the fact that he was talking about Jews,
a list of sites espousing vicious racism, anti-Semitism, Holocaust denial, pro-eugenics views, and conspiracy theories, including MacDonald's personal web site, under the title “My Favorite Alternate History Sites”,
and a link to an “enlightenment test” asking if the reader is a true free-thinker/Satanist/transhuman. Upon closer inspection, the site hosting the test also hosts myriad links to various hate sites.
His ban was thankfully rapid.
